We tracked down the government contractor that makes these for the Army and Marines. The Army version is designed a bit differently, but the same contractor makes them both and we offer them both. The foam behind the cap in the Marine version is a more firm type of foam. These are not cheap, but they are built to be the most durable and the most comfortable knee pads available. You know the old saying - you get what your pay for. Well, you have to spend some bucks to get these, but they are worth every penny. And, did I mention they are made in the USA?"
